PET RADIO SHOW POISED TO RAISE HALF A MILLION DOLLARS FOR PET RESCUES
Podcaster Creating Unique Fundraising Structure
SALEM, Oregon (April 2, 2013)- The Pet Radio Show, an internet podcast talk show about pets and pet issues announces it expects to raise half a million dollars for dog and cat rescues nationwide through advertising revenue, tailored fundraisers with local and national rescue organizations, and radio “telethons” to reach listeners, in an ongoing effort through the end of 2013.
“We are adding a Sunday show to our line- up which will be devoted to promoting pet rescues, rescue stories, and related news. The majority of the advertising revenue will go straight to rescue organizations along with listener donations”, explained Robert Paul Hudson, producer of The Pet Radio Show. The Sunday show is slated to debut May 19, 2013.
The weekly Saturday show was created by Hudson in June of 2012 and has attracted nationally recognized guests such as Dr. Ernie Ward who has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, and the Rachel Ray Show, and Robin Dixon, CEO of the highly acclaimed national organization Dogs for the Deaf and already reaches over 60,000 listeners. People may listen live or to recorded podcasts via petradioshow.com.
“Pet Radio is looking for sponsors, media partners and business partners who share our commitment and vision to help the organizations who help animals in need. We have already developed partnerships with I5 Publishing and Embrace Pet Insurance because they share our ideals,” said Hudson.
